Oh, Aix! I love you!
— From the movie Mr.Nobody. It’s a nice thought except that, well, it’s not true.
Notice the issues today, fight the fight constantly!"
Today a friend of mine was asked to “go back where she came from and stop mooching off this country”. I was more shocked than she! She is of foreign descent but born here, yet she is forced to explain and defend her presence here. I have never experienced someone saying or doing something like this so openly! It shakes me and her as well. I don’t really know what I’m trying to say. I’m just confused and shaken, but I can’t imagine how she must feel.

Giving rights
Who has the right to give someone else the right? When discussing the historical battles between humans we often stumble upon the expression “they were given the right”. Women were given the right to vote, people of different color were given their rights, homosexuals were also given their right. But who was it that gave them these rights? The Man? A pat on the head and a right thrown their way. “Alright, yes you can live with a person of the same sex and you can join in partnership. It’s okay. We accept you!” The only thing worse than accepting someone’s rights is when they are tolerated! You tolerate me!? Tolerate!? By tolerating you immediately utter the fact that you are above someone else, that you have a right to say yes or no. A person’s or a group of people’s rights should never be tolerated, they should be taken for granted and the fact that there are laws and restrictions directed especially towards a special group shows how far we have left. Stop solely viewing the collective and start incorporating the individual!
